Doner kebab

Doner kebab (döner kebap in Turkish) is the literal translation of "rotating grilled meat" (döner - rotate). To prepare doner kebab can be used virtually any type of meat, its composition varies depending on the country and the prevailing mores (kebab poultry meat is given to those who do not eat beef). First kebabs were cooked by the Turks. Authentic Turkish kebab is prepared with lamb. In European countries, however, this dish is prepared mainly with beef or a mixture of beef and lamb. Baked meat on a rotating grill cut in distinctive stripes, and this is done using a suitable knife or electric razor. Kebab usually is served with chips or wrapped in bread with fresh salad and sauce.
